Our strategy

SIT has a fully integrated global approach and focuses on 'bottom up' stock selection. 

SIT seeks to:

A global team

The Scottish Investment Trust PLC is independently managed, employing directly a team of professional fund managers led by the manager.

The investment team uses a disciplined investment process to search for and evaluate investment opportunities worldwide. Stocks with the characteristics thought likely to generate good long term returns are then incorporated in the SIT global portfolio, the construction of which is co-ordinated by the manager.
