Strategy

SIT has a fully integrated global approach and focuses on 'bottom up' stock selection.

We use a disciplined investment process to search for and evaluate investment opportunities worldwide.

We seek to identify some of the most promising equity investment opportunities from around the world.

We look for well-managed companies generating good and/or improving levels of profitability at valuations which do not fully reflect their true economic value.

We are not tied to any one investment style and prefer to retain a flexible approach in making investments for the global portfolio.

We will invest funds in the companies which we think will offer shareholders the best returns.

Objectives

  • To pursue a flexible investment policy avoiding any permanent specialisation.
  • To focus on fundamental value and employ a disciplined investment approach.
  • To invest in well-managed companies in established stockmarkets around the world.
  • To enhance performance in rising markets by prudent use of borrowed money.
  • To provide simple, low cost investment products for investors.
