Stock units to shares

Please note that at The Scottish Investment Trust PLC's AGM held on Friday, 5 February 2010, the issued share capital of the company was re-designated as shares instead of ordinary stock units.

Any reference to ordinary stock units should be read as shares.

This conversion, in itself, has no practical effect on the interests of the stockholders, who have now simply become shareholders.  There is no change to the number of units an investor holds nor to the value of that holding.
